Description
Fine pintucks and a short button placket give this orange linen-blend dress its character. The loose skirt falls in one continuous line beneath the detailed chest panel.
A V-shaped neckline opens into the short row of front buttons. On either side, narrow vertical pintucks form a rectangular panel across the upper chest. The sleeves finish around the elbows, with plain edges in the same fabric as the body. This is a pullover dress with a partial opening, rather than buttons running the full length of the skirt.
The solid orange colour carries through the bodice, sleeves and skirt. There is no floral or geometric print: the detail comes from the small buttons, the parallel lines of the pintucks and the visible creases in the linen-blend fabric.
